Australia's Wildlife bounces into Spring

Spring is the time when many of our wildlife projects reach their height of activity.

The Mountain Pygmy-possum awakes from hibernation, Corroboree Frogs breed and food plants are blossoming giving native animals a head start in this breeding season. As the animals spring into action, so do our scientists and project managers in the field.

They catch mice with truffels and peanut butter, set up tadpole nurseries in the alps and bag endangered wallabies , all to help save some of Australia's most endangered creatures.

Find out what is happening behind the scenes in your national parks this spring - with a peek over the shoulders of our conservationists in the field.

Enjoy!
