Dear PAWS,

National Parks are areas where nature is protected and where you can escape the hustle of the city.

They protect irreplaceable cultural heritage and provide places for us to connect with our history.

The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife was set up to create and care for such places, and over the past 36 years we have purchased land for 15 national parks and 7 nature reserves. We have funded the recovery of 41 species of animals and plants and we helped preserve 19 sites of cultural heritage.

To make parks accessible to all, we also fund walking tracks, interpretive signage, viewing platforms and disabled access. This opens up the parks to the people, while preserving their natural integrity and limiting our impact.

Your support allows us to address all these issues and look after your parks in a holistic manner.
