155 km south-west of Sydney, 17 km south of Moss Vale.

Within the 109,685 ha of Morton National Park, rivers have eroded deep gorges in the colourful sandstone plateau, producing spectacular scenery with cascading waterfalls, cliffs and mesas. Birds, kangaroos, possums and other wildlife are plentiful in the depths of the forest valleys.

Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife funding for the acquisition of approximately 30 hectares in the southern end of Morton National Park has not only secured part of the western side of the beautiful Clyde River Gorge, but also opened immediate access to a most popular area.

Two recent bequests to the Foundation added a further 2,087 hectares of previously unprotected wilderness land to Ettrema Wilderness and Budawang Wilderness in Morton National Park.
