Myall Lakes National Park

Myall Lakes National Park - Photo Steve Krinks236 km north of Sydney, 35 km from Forster.

The Myall lakes area is one of the state’s largest lake systems. Dominated by a series of natural fresh to brackish water lakes, Myall Lakes National Park also boasts spectacular headlands, which separate long expanses of beach. Wind swept sand dunes still support forests of red gums and wattles as well as a diversity of animal and bird life.

Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife funds provided the addition of 607 hectares to Myall Lakes National Park.
