Yuraygir National Park

50 km east of Grafton

Yuraygir National Park embraces one of the few remaining large natural areas of magnificent, scenic coastline. Forested ridges, swamps and extensive grassy heathlands provide refuge for waterbirds, kangaroos and wallabies.

The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife funded the acquisition of the core area, some 3,305 hectares, of Yuraygir National Park.

Today, Yuraygir National Park also embraces two older national parks which were purchased by the Foundation - Angourie National Park and Minnie Waters National Park.
