A new home for
Bridled Nailtail wallabies
Only 400 - 500 endangered Bridled Nailtail wallabies are left in the wild.
Their only two populations in national parks declining, and scientists are rethinking their approach to saving the species, relocating the animals to private land.
Mountain Pygmy-possums need support The tiny marsupial, about the size of a mandarin, spends winter in hibernation under the snow. About now, the possums will wake up and begin their feeding frenzy that will fatten them up for the next winter. Less than 2,100 Mountain Pygmy-possums remain in the world, and they need your help to survive this spring. There is no other funding this season, and we need all the help we can get for an urgent recovery project.
